Kelly Green, Ph.D.

GreenDr. Green is a Research Associate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. Her program of research is focused on suicide prevention. Specifically, her current work involves investigating novel interventions and services for individuals at-risk for suicide, in addition to examining mechanisms of change in Cognitive Therapy for Suicide Prevention. She is also interested in risk factors for suicide and suicide attempts, particularly in the area of cognitive vulnerabilities. Dr. Green’s clinical expertise includes cognitive behavioral interventions for the treatment of suicidal ideation and behaviors, in addition to mood and anxiety disorders in adults and adolescents. She provides training and consultation in suicide risk assessment and management and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to clinicians in diverse settings across the country.
